EUROPEAN REMOVALS

Whether you are relocating to Europe through work, your family, or to enjoy your retirement Appleyards of South Yorkshire can take you anywhere.

Removals to Europe generally require more planning than removals within the UK.

Appleyards have a huge amount of experience where European moves are concerned.

Moving to Brussels or a small town in the middle of the French countryside, we have experience in European removals to all popular destinations such as France, Germany, Holland, Italy and Belgium.

ALL EUROPEAN MOVES CARRIED OUT FROM THE ROTHERHAM DEPOT

Some unusual part load items we have taken over the years includes:

Kitchens, bathroom suites, carpets, garden furniture, ride on mowers, new beds and settees, doors, windows, staircases, piano’s, cars, dumpers, boats, life rafts, jet skis, Heinz baked beans, timber, plaster coving, fountains, statues, tiles, musical instruments, motorbikes, car parts, plants range master, hobs, log burners and Hendersons Relish.

Boxes can be supplied in advance for you to pack.

PACKING METHODS FOR A EUROPEAN MOVE

Experienced crews pack vehicles to maximise use of space and generally your furniture is blanket wrapped as they are loaded on to a vehicle and loaded in order of heaviest items first gradually working to the lighter items on a course by course basis.

EXPORT WRAPPING IS A COST OPTION:

This is where we probably spend an extra day or two on your move wrapping your furniture in large bubble wrap.

NB. The surveyor when he visits you will more than likely pick out items that need special attention and these will automatically be prepared by the crew on the day of your move.

Your surveyor will discuss the move with you and one of the questions will be.
Would you like to pack the boxes yourself, would you like us to pack or would you like to mix and match?
If you decide to pack your own items or if you want to mix, we can supply boxes in advance of your move.

CONTAINER STORAGE ON EUROPEAN MOVES

Britannia Appleyards often find that people require storage on moves to France.

We can provide specialised container storage.

Our storage facility is at Rotherham and we are more than happy for you to come and inspect the premises.
