History of European Moves

Our first moves to the Continent were to Ede in the Netherlands in 1976 and we continued to work for this customer until 2005 when he retired due to illness.

This was our opening to European work and helped us to create and perfect the services we have today.

In the late 70’s we also started regular runs to Switzerland and still retain the same agent to this day.

In the 1980’s we sent a truck to Tunisia with an embassy move and in the early 90’s we were loading up on the eve of war in Yugoslavia for another embassy.

Through the 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s we have found the majority of private customers settle on France as their destination and you will often see our trucks on the roads. Spain has always been a popular destination but climate wise most people prefer France; from 2008 onwards we have seen a rise in the number of enquiries to places like Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic as well as Sweden and Denmark.

We are well known for European Removals and currently undertake moves to and from the UK for many private customers/corporate companies and other removal firms.
